So, in preparation for our 18 hour road trip, I made battle ship and hangman printables for us to play with! I printed them out on regular paper and placed them in page protectors so we can use them over and over again with dry erase makers :-) I also printed a US map for him to track where we are!
The Dry-Erase markers were from the Dollar Tree (and worked surprisingly well! One of them bled a little, though.) The Sentence Board was in the dollar section at Target. If you don't have extra page protectors lying around, you could use Gallon size zip-locks (you'll need to trim the pages a bit so they fit flat).
